Uninstallation

If you need to remove Cloudhooks from your Shopify store, follow these simple steps to uninstall the app.

Data Retention Options

Before uninstalling, you can choose whether to preserve your app data for future use. On the “Settings” page of the app, you'll find the "Keep app data on uninstall" option. This setting is particularly useful if you plan to reinstall Cloudhooks later:

Why Keep App Data?

• Cloudhooks regularly adds new webhook event triggers that may require additional permissions.
• Preserving your data allows you to maintain all your hook configurations.
• Upon reinstallation, you can continue where you left off, only needing to grant any new required permissions.
• All your historical logs and settings remain intact.

Uninstallation Steps

1) Press the '...' button in the top-right corner

2) Select "Uninstall":

3) Confirm the deletion of the app.

⚠️ Note: If "Keep app data on uninstall" is disabled, deleting the app will permanently remove all hook configurations and historical logs. This action cannot be undone.
